iCatcher Network takes the internet to the Super Bowl
Event Serves as Nationwide Launch of Partnership with InteractivePools
January 25, 2001 - Baltimore - iCatcher Network, Inc. and PLAYERS INC announced today
a new partnership that will provide a number of free web stations, to be used
during the three day event Super Bowl weekend, to be held at the Cuban Club in
historic Ybor City in Tampa, FL Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28,
2001.
iCatcher Network, Inc. was selected by the NFLPA to provide
exclusive high-speed Internet access at the three day event. iCatcher Network
successfully delivered integrated marketing solutions to PSINet Stadium for the
Baltimore Ravens' Championship season of 2000-2001, and now the Baltimore-based
company will join the Ravens at the big event. The results of the Baltimore
Ravens and PSINet Stadium partnership led to the Player Association's interest
in the iCatcher web stations at the event.
Based on the success of the
partnership between the Ravens and PSINet, iCatcher Network will begin to offer
this service to other professional sports teams and venues across the country in
Spring 2001. A new iCatcher Network business partner, InteractivePools (www.ipoolsb2b.com), will be a part of the
nationwide launch. InteractivePools provides interactive promotions and
marketing services through their web games, pools and contests.
iCatcher
Network web stations, placed in the teams' communities and stadiums, are an
ideal interactive marketing tool for the teams, when paired with the
promotional, web-based contests that InteractivePools provides. This marketing
suite provides these venues a way to integrate their consumer and viral
marketing capabilities on-site and in the marketplace, as well as extend team
goodwill into the community. Not only will these services be applicable to
sports teams and venues, but also other companies that wish to reach the
community in an innovative, interactive way.
"We are extremely excited
about the presence of iCatcher Network and our partners at the NFL Players Party
in Tampa," said iCatcher Network Chairman and Co-Founder, John Shin. "Offering
free Internet to the guests at the party is a great opportunity for us to
showcase our service and technology. More importantly, this venue helps us
demonstrate the marketing solutions we provided for PSINet and the AFC Champions
Ravens, and how we can serve similar clients."
"The marketing network
iCatcher Network provides is an excellent addition to any company's marketing
strategies," said Pat Kelly, Co-founder of iCatcher Network. "We spent two years
testing and perfecting our web station strategies and are now ready to offer
these services nationwide."
"We have been watching iCatcher Network and
their PSINet solution for some time, and quickly became impressed with their
team and offering," said InteractivePools founder and CEO Howard Arkin. "With
our customized, promotional web contests and iCatcher Network¹s state-of-the-art
web stations and infrastructure, this partnership is truly a natural one."
